If you own Trombone Champ on the Nintendo Switch™, you should receive update v1.29B today. You can tell if the new update is applied if you see “1.29B” in the lower-left-hand corner of the title screen.
New Stuff
- Two new songs: “The Can-Can” and “Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2!”
- A new graphical effect that appears during solos, plus cheering after the solo finishes (or booing if you played nothing at all).
- Other optimizations, fixes, and improvements.
Apologies for the slow update! We’ve spent a ton of time helping the folks at Flat2VRStudios work on the recently-announced Trombone Champ: Unflattened, a VR port of the game coming later this year.
Additionally, we spent a LOT of time on a level editor for the PC / Mac versions of the game. Unfortunately, we really don’t think it’s possible to bring this level editor to the Nintendo Switch version since it completely depends on loading your own audio files. We’d like to make this up to Nintendo Switch users somehow… We still have a handful of cool improvements we’d like to bring to the Nintendo Switch version, but we’re also trying to think of additional fun, exclusive content we can add, because nobody wants to play a version that feels neglected!
Thank you for your patience, and happy tooting!
Forever in your service,
Holy Wow Studios
